Four extraordinary producers from Sul de Minas, Brazil, each a member of the Cooxupé Cooperative, banded together to create a perfectly rich coffee and visibility around women in coffee. Olga Maria, Bianca Corrêa, Andrea Rangel, and Ciomara de Carvalho's work is more than producing medium-to-low-elevation coffees with rich sugars and a full body. Advocacy, workshops, and sharing of technical knowledge are all part of SMC's partnership with Cooxupé. Dark roasting develops this natural coffee's deep, round structure - a classic profile for batch brews and almost "golden" espresso pulls.
