We are excited to celebrate our first ever fully-transparent, single variety decaf offering! A collective of producers called Asociación Los Naranjos worked together to grow and process one of our favorites varieties, Rosado aka Pink Bourbon in southern Colombia. We enjoy E.A. decaffeination thanks to how intact it leaves this high elevation Huila's sugary, juicy profile. E.A. or ethyl acetate, is an occurring ester (found in fruit and fermented sugars) that bonds to and removes caffeine from green coffee. Using E.A. avoids the harsh chemicals sometimes used. This sweet, well-balanced medium roast is worth tasting, even if you're not avoiding caffeine.
