The beauty of washed Ethiopia coffees can be perspective-altering. Fresh stone fruit, elegant florals, and a balancing sweetness stand out in this fresh crop lot grown in the highlands around the town of Gedeb. Multiple smallholder farmers bring their fresh pick to be fully washed and slowly dried on raised beds at Chelchele Washing Station. Our light roasting touch preserves this Yirgacheffe’s exceptionally sweet and juicy profile - favoring longer ratio by-the-cup preparations and nearly "lungo" espresso pulls.
