Mr. Mengeche Derso owns and operates two small farms in one of the most revered and traditional coffee lands in the world - Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia. Well above 2,000 meters above sea level, the cool climate and rich soil of this beloved region breathe life into exceedingly sweet, aromatic Heirloom varieties. Light roasting preserves Derso's beautiful work and the delicate fruit fermentation of Halo Beriti Washing Station from their Natural dried-in-the-fruit processing. Expect tropical and stone fruit with a hint of strawberry jam in the finish - perfect for hot summer days!
