We Taste - Banana daiquiri, pink Starburst, boysenberry
Vincent Rukeribuga started farming coffee in 1989 with just one hundred seedlings and methodically grew his production to provide his children with the opportunity of higher education. Thanks to years of experience, ripeness in his cherry selection, and expert cultivation of his coffee plants, Vincent's coffee was selected for microlot separation and processing by producing and exporting partner Tropic Coffee. By growing the ever popular variety Red Bourbon, Rukeribuga makes the most of the fertile, black humus-rich soil, producing cherries of peak sweetness and vibrance. Tropic took great care with a dried-in-the-fruit Natural process that yields a fun cup featuring tropical, creamy flavors like banana; all the while preserving a bright, tangy acidity from the high elevation terroir of the Cyato Region in Nyamasheke, not far from breathtaking and tempering Lake Kivu. Light roasting highlights candy-like sweetness and a refreshing brightness, making this fruit-forward microlot ideal for single cup and cold brew preparations.
